St. Thomas East End Medical Center Corporation

Originally opened in 1977 as the Eastern Family Health Center of the VI Department of Health, the facility has been a trusted provider of high-quality, compassionate care for the St. Thomas-St. John community. In 2000, it transitioned to a private, non-profit healthcare facility and was renamed The East End Medical Center Corporation, continuing its longstanding mission to serve the community with excellence.As the only private, non-profit federally qualified health center in the district, we are committed to serving everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We are also a National Health Service Corps site, ensuring access to services to all.
